With an ever growing population, there is an immediate need for energy and processed products.
The international processing industry is continually rising to the challenge of meeting those needs.
Inevitably, this involves containing hazards such as flammable, explosive and toxic materials.
Safety, environmental and cost considerations are paramount.
Process Safety Matters was established to provide the support you need to target a safe, cost effective and environmentally-friendly facility

We hereby would like to thank Process Safety Matters for conducting the P&ID Review Workshop for Balance of Plant held from 28th April to 09th May 2025 and the HAZOP & SIL Review Workshop for Furnace held from 12th to 23rd May 2025. Both workshops were well planned and organized, resulting in successful and fruitful reviews. We truly appreciate all the effort, support and collaboration extended by Linde EU2 Cracker Revamp Team, especially the Process Engineering, System Engineering Team and the Process Safety Team. Special thanks to the HAZOP Chairman, Angus Keddie.
Angus Keddie of Process Safety Matters led several HAZOP and SIL reviews for me on a FEED for 2 new refineres in Iraq. He was able to strike the right balance between eliciting input from all the members of the HAZOP team and keeping the process on track towards a challenging Bid Package deadline. He combines an extensive industry and process knowledge with the communication and diplomatic skills which are necessary to get the best out of the disparate band of experts that constitutes a HAZOP team.
Angus Keddie of Process Safety Matters prepared and delivered our first Process Safety Fundamentals training course in Dec 2015 to a group of our Field Supervisors. The course succeeded in its primary objective which is to bring process safety awareness to the forefront of our daily operations. I am more than satisfied with the service provided by Angus and would encourage other Oil and Gas Operators to work with him to help ensure that we make our industry as safe as we possibly can.
